First Tape & Label manufactures, distributes, and services Pressure Sensitive Adhesive Coated Products. We have been family owned and operated for over 30 years . Founder and owner, David Haak, began the company in 1980 with one 4" printing press in a 2,400 square foot building. Today, First Tape & Label occupies an operating space of 64,000 square feet. We have 13 presses with the capability of printing up to 18" wide and up to 8 colors. We produce labels used in a broad range of industries including: tire, steel, packaging, food, automotive and more. We have our own in-house art department with in-house plate making capabilities. What differentiates us from other printers is our coating capabilities . We produce our own pressure sensitive label stock, which reduces the cost to our customers. This also allows us to supply our customers with a one of a kind product adapted to fit their needs. Our customers are able to choose between a variety of proprietary adhesives, adhesive weights , and numerous face-stocks to formulate a true custom label .
