DataSight is a US-based geospatial company that processes Point Cloud data, agnostic to the collection methodology, using cloud-based software to produce highly accurate, incredibly fast, cost-effective, and immediately actionable. DataSight specializes in automating break-line extraction from point clouds using our patent‐pending data compression algorithm. Modern mapping techniques create enormous amounts of data (point clouds). Our proprietary IP examines the point clouds to find linear features that define the shape of the topography (breaklines). Breaklines take a small fraction of the storage and memory required by point clouds, while maintaining accurate definition of the ground’s shape. We make the Lidar useable through our compression algorithm.
