We are the team behind the synthetic data vault. DataCebo is an AI company dedicated to solving the world's data availability problems using AI generated synthetic data. Our open core platform the Synthetic Data Vault (SDV) is used by thousands of businesses from world’s largest enterprises to small and medium businesses. We believe that only an open core software, tested by thousands of developers, on proprietary enterprise data and on premise can create a robust enterprise-grade software system. SDV was originally created at MIT in 2018 and we have stayed true to our mission. We maintain the open core and help thousands of developers using it to understand synthetic data, develop proof of concepts, and put it into actual practice. Building on the strong open core foundation, in 2023 we launched the Synthetic Data Vault - Enterprise (SDV-Enterprise) to create generative AI models for complex databases, data types, and use these models to generate synthetic data. Enterprises use synthetic data for testing software applications, addressing shortage of training data for machine learning models and enhancing market research data.
