DataActive offers automated production solutions, workflow tracking and content management systems, database building, computer programming, IT consultancy and project management. We provide technical consultancy and automated solutions for data gathering with output to different print or web ready digital formats (mainly PDF) for our clients. Generally this means offering the service of converting incoming data sources to a publication or document, single sheet, presentation or booklet format, in a very fast, efficient and accurate way. The same source data can be used to produce different digital outputs for web or other use. The whole process is accurate as the data supplied by our clients is fully represented in the output file, and as well as being very cost effective no specialist software is generally required by our clients. Typical examples of work for our financial clients include Fund Fact Sheets, Interim Reports, Annual and Semi-Annual Shareholder Reports, Prospectuses and other legal and compliance documents. Currently we are producing in excess of 30,000 pages of automated production per month (in many languages including Greek and Chinese) with various combinations of these files being grouped together to form publications or be personalised. We provide a service turnkey solution to our clients while principal competitors largely provide a product and software only independent solution. One of the main differences is that at DataActive we believe that we have a better understanding than IT or software companies of the complexities of design, layout and typography; and in the preparation of files for litho and digital printing; and the in the management of print requirements.
