Danan Contracting is a licensed contractor, in business since 1997, remodeling mostly in the Brookside, Armour Hills and Waldo areas of Kansas City. We strive to bring you the best value and quality in upgrading your home, while maintaining the architectural details that give older homes their charm. Our specialty is kitchen and bath remodeling, but we also build additions, three-season rooms, decks and garages. We provide everything needed for your remodel project, including design work coordinating your cabinets, countertop, appliances, flooring, tile, paint and finish. All work will be guaranteed for a period of one year; however manufacturers warranties will supersede this guarantee. Our mission is to improve homes with up to date functionality and comfort that meet the lifestyle needs of our clients. We strive to make your remodeling experience less messy, less stressful, maybe even enjoyable. Our business is a team effort involving qualified subcontractors, suppliers and design consultants. It is owned by Dan Koehne. Dan was trained as a journeyman carpenter in single and multi family home building in Central Illinois 1981. He worked as a kitchen/bath design specialist and project manager for Fimco Kitchen & Bath after moving to Kansas City in 1983. He worked in the plumbing industry traveling throughout Missouri until 1998. In 1997 he started Tuition Contracting part time, which later became Danan Contracting working as a full time remodeler in 1999. Dan oversees the day to day operations of project, from design to demolition to finish. He coordinates with subcontractors to complete the project in a timely manner, implementing the details of your plan, specifications and change orders.
