Established in 1969 as a family run business, Dalron Construction Limited continues to be a leader in the Canadian New Home Building Industry. With a commitment to quality and being "Famous for Service", Dalron consistently strives to provide unique communities geared to a variety of lifestyles. Being the largest residential developer in Northern Ontario over the last three decades, Dalron has built over 3,500 homes and has received a variety of awards from commitment to excellence. Most notably, Dalron was awarded the Ernest Assaly Award as the Ontario Builder of the Year on two separate occasions. Once focused on development in the residential sector, Dalron has diversified and expanded into retirement communities and commercial properties. This led to the birth of two sister companies, Autumnwood Lifestyles Inc. and Dalron Leasing Limited to service clients in both these divisions. Autumnwood Lifestyles Inc. focuses on development opportunities within the retirement industry. To that end, Autumnwood has renovated a hotel to create The Breezes Retirement Residence, a centrally located seniors' community. In addition, Autumnwood is responsible for Meadowbrook Retirement Village, an outstanding village for seniors located in Lively. Autumnwood is also responsible for Red Oak Villa, an apartment style retirement community in Sudbury's downtown.
