DAKOFA Information

Dakofa - Waste and Resource Network Denmark - is an independent member-based organisation. Our primary task is to prepare the Danish waste and resource sector for navigating in a dynamic society, but just as importantly, in a globalised world. New framework conditions, increasing demand for resource efficiency, stricter legal requirements as well as external pressure for continual environmental improvement creates a strong need for sharing knowledge, information, experience and innovation. Dakofa collects knowledge and experience on waste and resources from both Denmark and abroad. We develop, organise and coordinate seminars, conferences, network meetings and workshops where learning, knowledge sharing and innovation are in focus. We cover the entire waste and resource area, including clean technology, product policy, waste prevention and resource efficiency and circular economy. Dakofa has more than 300 members including national and local authorities, private organisations, research institutions, local authorities and intermunicipal waste management companies, waste producers, waste handlers, transport companies, consultants and suppliers, all of whom operate within the field of waste and resources.
