Clark Water Corporation, a subsidiary of Manila Water Philippine Ventures which brings water and used water services to Clark Freeport and the Clark Special Economic Zone, signed a P1.15 billion term loan granted by Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) to support business plans that will further improve services received by its customers as well as the influx of upcoming potential locators. The loan to be paid in 15 years will finance water and used water projects of the Company approved by Clark Development Corporation (CDC), the government arm that manages the Clark Freeport and Clark Special Economic Zone. In the opening of 2015, Clark Water has begun service enhancement projects such as building and commissioning new water sources like deep wells and infiltration wells, constructing of new water treatment and booster facilities, as well as storage tanks. Also, for additional water supply, the company is looking at tapping surface water.
