Cuadrilla Resources is a privately owned exploration and production company with operations in the UK. We are focussed on discovering and recovering natural resources, primarily natural gas, from shale rock. We currently have onshore exploration licences in the North and South of the UK covering approximately 600,000 acres. Domestically producing natural gas from shale would increase the UK’s energy self-sufficiency, reduce the CO2 emissions associated with importing Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and secure investment and jobs for local communities across the country. Assessing the commercial viability of shale gas production in the UK is a national imperative and at Cuadrilla we are proud to be at the forefront of that effort. As a responsible operator, we aim to be a model company for exploring and developing shale gas in an environmentally responsible way.
