CSSA Data Science was founded in 2015 as part of a new breed of professionals calling themselves Data Scientists. We are experts in analysis of data and can make a huge and positive difference to any company’s operations using data to extract knowledge and insights from any data set. Collectively, we have many years of experience in the IT, Financial audit, IT audit and analytic disciplines, and have come together in a partnership to offer all our clients intelligent, agile and scalable analysis solutions which help them to unlock the power of the data that they already store. We have, for years, been developing advanced algorithms which mostly run on top of our client’s existing financial systems, and have also been providing outsourced CAATS (Computer Assisted Audit Techniques) services to companies, partners and audit firms within South Africa. For inventory analysis, fraud prevention and completeness of financial information, our team are experts in quickly cleaning up and preparing large data sets for analysis. We also use a very wide range of custom analysis tools and methodologies to deliver on project objectives. Our latest projects in continuous monitoring are saving our clients huge amounts of money as we are able to provide reporting and up-to-the-minute analysis that tells management where and when issues are occurring, or are about to occur within their financial or operational systems (predictive analysis).
