Creative Loafing is a multimedia company founded in Atlanta in 1972. Today, the Atlanta paper's print version (circulation: 75,000) is the second-most broadly distributed newspaper in Georgia. We're an award-winning alternative newsweekly nationally known for our coverage of news, culture, music, and the arts. In 2012, Creative Loafing Inc. was acquired by Nashville-based media company SouthComm, Inc. SouthComm owns weeklies in markets such as Nashville (its flagship), Cincinnati, and Louisville. Last year it bought two other Creative Loafing papers in Charlotte and Tampa.
