To train body, mind and spirit through the highest level of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction as a vehicle for individual development and the strengthening of the family spirit, going beyond the ‘winning-losing’ or ‘contest’ philosophy. At Gracie Barra we strive to help students get the most out of their training. For students with consistency and dedication, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu becomes a life-style and students can readily enjoy all the benefits of the Jiu-Jitsu or the “Gentle Art”. Working from the assumption that Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu must be embraced as a lifelong journey, Master Carlos Gracie Jr. has designed an effective learning plan or program of study that allows for students to naturally progress from the white belt to the black belt. Thus, classes and their respective curriculum at Gracie Barra are not isolated from one another, but elements of a larger structured learning plan called “Programs”.

Kinetic Martial Arts is a group of independently owned martial arts clubs. Our culture is built around Strength • Fitness • Flexibility — Mind & Body, and supported by our internal values of integrity, community, and technique. We’ve experienced steady growth since 2005, and over that time have continued refining our operational systems, both on and off the mats. We’re happy to support established schools with advice. We also welcome enquiries from martial artists and fitness professionals who would like to learn more about the process of opening and operating a successful martial arts centre.

The Australian Academy of Martial Arts was established in 1972 and celebrates 40 years of continuous teaching under one Director, Shihan Graham Keleher. The method of instruction has been refined through that time and we now offer specialised classes for: Children where we teach in 3 age groups: Little Leopards class is for children aged 3 to 6 years; Dragons class is for children aged from 7 to 11 years; and Samurai class is suited for children aged 12 and over. Adults where we teach in 3 competency groups: Beginners; Junior kyu grades; and Senior kyu grades and Black Belts.
