More than 13 million children live in food-insecure households, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. These children and their families lack consistent access to enough food to live active, healthy lives. The effects of food insecurity are wide-ranging, from the painful feeling of hunger to serious implications for children’s physical and mental health, academic achievement, and future economic prosperity. CoreGiving is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to eliminating child hunger by providing nourishing meals to children and families through partnerships with food banks and other hunger-relief organizations across the United States.
