CONVIEN GmbH Information

Find the best place for every meeting and event. Where should we meet? Most teams decide out of habit: the headquarters, last year's city, the place someone knows. Yet where a group meets decides what the trip costs, how long people travel and how much CO₂ it creates. Convien makes it a decision, not a habit. Our Meeting Place Finder compares every candidate city by travel cost, CO₂ and travel time, from where your attendees start. For 2 to 30,000 attendees. The result: up to 35% lower travel costs and up to 42% less CO₂. How it works: 1. Add attendees: where they start and how many travel from each place. A city, a postcode or an airport is enough. No names. 2. Choose up to three dates. 3. Check your preferred location, or let us calculate every candidate city. 4. Compare cost, CO₂ and travel time in three views, choose your location and export the report. Every calculation uses real flight schedules and fares from global booking systems, rail and road connections, your travel policy and door-to-door travel time. CO₂ follows the VDR standard with atmosfair data, aligned with the GHG Protocol and ready for your Scope 3 reporting. Proven at scale: for a DAX-listed client, 219 meetings with 5,652 participants saved more than €1M in travel costs and about 1,170 t of CO₂. At a pharmaceutical client, 32% lower travel and hotel cost per meeting paid for 47% more meetings with the same budget.
