Automation in modern production lines is highly developed. What remains largely unsystematic is how target setpoints are coordinated across the entire line during live operation. Vernaio addresses this structural gap. Local control loops and APC systems stabilize individual sections. Yet the coordination of target setpoints across the full line - under changing raw materials, energy conditions and production goals - is still often experience-driven. Vernaio developed a Causal-AI production copilot that learns the cause–effect logic of an entire production line directly from raw process data. Based on this line-specific model, it continuously computes and aligns setpoints across sections in real time. The focus is consistent line-wide operation with measurable impact on energy consumption, raw material use and cost per tonne.
