Connected Comedy was founded by Josh Spector (a.k.a me) in 2010. I've spent nearly 20 years working in comedy marketing, production, and content creation with an emphasis on digital platforms. Content I've produced and/or marketed has generated more than 100 million views on YouTube and I've worked with such companies as New Line Cinema, Warner Bros. Television, Comedy.com and Freemantle Media. I am currently the Managing Director of Digital Media & Marketing for The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, where I oversee digital strategy for The Oscars as well as the Academy's year-round efforts. And yes, I was involved in the making of the biggest selfie in history.
