Comux UK Information

Comux is an Ofcom-licenced Freeview multiplex operator. We also supply local TV services to the Virgin Media platform. Owned by the local TV sector itself, we transmit 38 channels on Freeview, consisting of 34 local TV channels and 4 national TV streams. Comux was founded in 2013, and is based in Birmingham, where it operates a 24/7 Network Operations Centre, centralising and muxing content for local and national distribution reaching up to 17 million homes throughout the UK. The CEO of Comux UK is Michael Lever. The Chair is Nigel Dacre. Comux works closely with the Local TV Network (LTVN). The Chair of the LTVN is David Powell.
