Norwich School is a co-educational, independent day school for pupils aged four to eighteen. Set in the Cathedral Close, Norwich School is a traditional, yet lively place where boys and girls enjoy a rounded and stimulating education. The school is characterised by strong, warm relationships and a profound appreciation of scholarship. Norwich School is divided into two sections: the Lower School and the Senior School. The Lower School is the base for our 4-11 year old pupils (Reception- Year 6), while the Senior School caters for the 11-18 age range (Years 7-13). shaping the needs of the community for the future.. Grow Your Community is a community-based project aimed at improving health, wellbeing and lifestyles of local people with a particular focus on supporting older people by getting people more active in their communities. It is being delivered by Broadland District Council in partnership with Sprowston Town Council and the Sprowston community and involves people, voluntary groups and service providers all working together to improve care. Recent research has shown the significant role of the community sector in providing care, often involving older people themselves as formal volunteers, informally as carers or as friends and neighbours giving assistance. The project will build on these skills and knowledge in the community to support people as they age. It will also explore how service providers can better align provision to meet local needs. Our latest venture at Sprowston Diamond Centre is to work with the Alzheimers Society to bring a dementia cafe to the Sprowston area. Anyone interested in this please contact Sprowston Town Council .
