TheRayTracer™ Classic v3.0 w/ TheRayTracer™ User's Guide, 3rd Ed. @ $79 is the Windows®11 3D CAD software package for rendering mathematically modeled graphical objects in overall photorealistic computer scenes with all the aesthetics of shapes, color, lighting, and shadows. It has an interactive, textual user-interface (TUI) with a fast ray-tracing engine, and it generates bitmaps as color output. Your computer scenes can be a mixture of simple and compound objects. It uses pure Constructive Solid Geometry (CSG)--which consists of the Boolean operations UNION, INTERSECTION, and DIFFERENCE. Use it for building hierarchical compound objects from a pool of 10 primitives (n/i plane), which themselves first transform into simple objects and subsequently may become part of a compound object/sub object. Also, it features breakthrough technology for simple and compound transparent/reflective objects. I disruptively refer to the driving mechanism of the graphics engine as the Software Laser Engine-Device (SLED) rather than the textbooks' "camera" because of the contrasting directionality of the emanating rays for the two distinct concepts.
