CORRE is a tax-exempt 501(c)5 organization that represents more than 13,000 retirees of the managing contractors of the Department of Energy (DOE) facilities in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. It is populated entirely by retirees and surviving spouses, run by volunteers, and managed by a Board of Directors. CORRE's vision is: To be an organization that improves the welfare of its members. CORRE's mission is: To protect, preserve, and enhance the retirement benefits of its members and their surviving spouses. CORRE's approach is: To work with contractors, DOE, local and state officials, congressional representatives, and other related organizations to secure fair, just, and equitable retirement benefits for all eligible retirees.
