Clearwater Yacht Club Information

CYC offers members both casual and formal dining options, as well as banquet services and space for private functions, such as birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, weddings and company events. CYC gives back to the community with several annual fund-raisers, including Toys for Tots, PARC, Indian Rocks Family Sailing Association, Eckerd Raising Hope and Totes for Ta-Tas. CYC has many family activities, a book club, educational programs and a jam-packed schedule of social events in the dining room and on the docks. CYC has live music, seasonal menus and a pool that's chilled during the hot months. Everyone in your family will find something special to enjoy at CYC. CYC's Yachting Committee hosts and assists a busy agenda of prestigious local and international sailboat regattas, where members can either join the race or volunteer on race committees. CYC's race committee is known globally for being one of the best. CYC's Cruising Committee hosts organized cruises to yacht clubs and destinations on Florida's Gulf Coast. CYC never forgets those on-the-water events, such as the Dinghy Poker Run and the Beer Can Races, that are so popular with members and so much fun. Our year-round learn-to-sail program for both children and adults is among the most successful in the Florida Council of Yacht Clubs. CYC youth sailing programs are focused on seamanship and the joy of being on the water. Over the years, three participants in our competitive sailing program have gone on to compete in the Olympics. As a member of CYC, you have guest privileges at 35 clubs in the Florida Council of Yacht Clubs and reciprocity at almost every yacht club in the United States. Your CYC membership also includes privileges at the Clearwater Community Sailing Association on Sand Key. CYC's auxillary groups, Gulls and Bow Chasers, provide weekly get-togethers for the women of Clearwater Yacht Club.
