Supported by hundreds of conscious brands, CleanHub stops plastic waste at the source—collecting it from households and communities in high-risk coastal regions and river communities before it ever reaches the environment. Why We’re Different: Instead of pulling plastic out of rivers or oceans after the damage is done, we support land-based waste management systems in countries lacking formal infrastructure, including India, Indonesia, Tanzania, Egypt, and Guatemala. Without collection systems, communities are forced to burn waste or discard it in nature. We change that by funding and tracking waste recovery from source, providing reliable income for local waste workers and verified impact for funding brands. Independently Verified: Since January 2023, CleanHub has been verified by TÜV SÜD—making us the first plastic credit system to achieve this rigorous standard (renewed annually). Our Story CleanHub was born on the water. As avid surfers and travelers, founders Joel and Florin witnessed plastic washing up on pristine beaches with zero waste systems in place.
