CLARION AREA SCHOOL DISTRICT Information

At Clarion Area, we make every effort to treat students like young adults. In the vast majority of cases, the students reciprocate with mature, responsible actions. This is what makes Clarion what it is. A student teacher who left our school in October for another placement recently came back to visit. The observations made by this person really validate what we hold as our philosophy. The student teacher was quick to note that our expectations and interactions with our students are of a higher standard. The person was most complimentary of the student body of Clarion Area. Hopefully students will recognize this fact and embrace what we are striving to accomplish. Over the past few years I have had the opportunity to visit a number of other schools as part of a Middle States Validation process. Although these visits have been positive and productive, I have always been very glad to return to Clarion. We have a good school. We have good teachers and students. By working together we strive to continue this positive climate for education.
