CJMP, 90.1 FM in Powell River, BC, is a community radio station whose license is held by the Powell River Community Radio Society, incorporated in July 2009. The new board of directors for the Powell River Community Radio Society (PRCRS) was acclaimed on November 10, 2011: Tony Colton (President) Tony Colton I'm really proud to be working with such a great bunch of people that see the importance of community radio and independent media. I'm a carpenter, by trade. My wife Meghan I and discovered Powell River on our honeymoon and never left. My favourite thing about Powell River is the people! And when the sun shines on the water and it looks like the sea is covered in diamonds. This is my second year on the Board of Directors.
