Young Talkers is a private pediatric and adult speech therapy clinic located in beautiful Myrtle Beach, SC. The clinic has been owned and operated by a Speech-Language Pathologist for 16 years and has been voted Best of the Beach Speech Therapy Clinic for the past 9 years. We have three office locations. We also can provide services in schools, preschools/daycares, and through BabyNet birth to 3 in the home environment. Our speech therapists have specialized training and certifications to help us provide quality therapy services for all of our patients. We involve the families in our sessions and carry over of the goals to help our patients make the maximum amount of progress that is possible. We are here to help our patients and families and ultimately make an impact and difference in the lives' of others.

Key to learn spoken English: Key 1: Never study a single or individual word. Our mind is just like a computer database which stores all the information. Whatever you input in it, you will get when you need it. Till now you have only inputted an “English words” into your mind. And that’s what you get when you speak out. But languages are not just the “words”, it’s a “group of words” called sentences or phrases. When you find a new word, always write down the phrase it is in. When you review, always review the entire phrase, not just the single word. Key 2: Grammar kills your spoken English. Grammar rules teach you to think about English, you want to speak automatically without thinking. You must learn English without studying grammar rules. Learn phrases, grammar will come automatically. Key 3: Focus on listening. Most of the time you learn English with your eyes. You read textbooks. You study grammar rules. That’s no good. You must learn English with your ears, not your eyes. Your speaking improves quickly when you start focusing on listening. Spend most of your study time listening real English.
