The Chilterns MS Centre provides much-needed support and stability for people with MS, Parkinson's and stoke survivors, as well as their families and their carers. We are an independent charity and within our local community we strive to help people gain greater control over their neurological condition so they can lead happy and healthy lives. We provide physio, hydro, oxygen, complementary and occupational therapies that are not available regularly or long-term on the NHS. Everyone at the Centre understands neurological conditions, whether it’s our expert and approachable staff, our fantastic volunteers or one of our over 600 members themselves. We provide comprehensive treatment and holistic care which include social and emotional support to over 330 people each week. . A diagnosis affects the whole family, so the Centre also supports their husbands, wives, partners, parents and children. What our members say about us.... 'MS can be really cruel but I have learnt strategies to cope which really help me’ ‘They provide me with support physically, mentally and emotionally and I look forward to coming every week’ ‘Love what they do, love how they do it, life would be even harder without them’ ‘Quite simply you are a real lifeline'. The Centre, based in Wendover, supports people with MS, Parkinson's and stoke survivors from across Buckinghamshire and neighbouring counties.
