Chic Beads was launched by Roxanne Fraga to promote her line of original handcrafted jewelry. She states, “I began to make my own jewelry and wear it out to accent my own personal style. My friends took notice, and requested that I design jewelry for them. This transitioned into jewelry parties and events, and thereafter, we decided to open our first store. It has been quite a journey, and I’ve met many wonderful people along the way.” Roxanne’s jewelry is published in various books, magazines, and trade publications; her clients range from friends to Fortune 500 companies. In 2005, Roxanne was chosen by the Walt Disney Company to create a new Ariel necklace in celebration of Disney’s 50th Anniversary. The necklace was featured in Disney parks and resorts throughout the world. That same year, Roxanne created the Cha Cha Bracelet which was featured in BeadStyle Magazine and became an immediate favorite among jewelry makers on Etsy.
