Chaffinch supports locally-run projects in the Kibera slum of Nairobi Kenya. Through the empowerment of local people, we provide opportunities for children to leave behind a life of extreme poverty. This is largely through educational opportunities alongside a feeding programme, access to basic healthcare, and the provision of a safe place to live for children with nowhere to call home. We run a Child Sponsorship Programme, engage in ad hoc fundraising, and provide some advice and training.
