Center for the Advancement of Critical Time Intervention (CACTI) was established in 2014 at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College, in partnership with many people who have been instrumental in the design, evaluation and dissemination of the CTI model since its creation. The Center arose out of a clear need for a home base as the model continues to be widely disseminated around the world. The Center serves a dual purpose: • It is a central hub for news about CTI programs, upcoming trainings by certified CTI trainers, research projects, the latest publications, ongoing research, relevant conferences and webinars and other information. • It provides a mechanism for those involved with CTI to learn from others working in similar settings. The network encourages the sharing of ideas in order to foster collaboration in the development of promising adaptations and enhancements to the model.
