CELEBRATING PATSY CLINE Information

Established in 1995, Celebrating Patsy Cline, Inc. (CPC), is a nonprofit corporation committed to its mission: ?To Preserve and Perpetuate The Legacy of Patsy Cline and Her Music?. At the core of a phased-in Winchester, Virginia presence, CPC restored the Patsy Cline Historic House at 608 South Kent Street to its original appearance, circa 1950, when Patsy lived there with her mother and siblings. The house portrays the story of Patsy's Winchester years, the lives of others associated with her, and events that were pivotal to her career. The house is open yearly for public tours and special events from April through October. Future plans include honoring Patsy Cline and her music through the establishment of a Patsy Cline Museum in Winchester. The museum will chronicle milestones of her life story. It will feature images, related sounds, and moving pictures of her era, creating both a soundscape and visual tapestry of her life and singing career. CPC is looking for volunteers to assist with the Historic House as well as for items and recollections of Patsy that can be incorporated.
