In 1985, CCL Container added manufacturing aluminum extruded aerosol containers to its operations, and has been setting the standard for specialty container shaping since then. Today, CCL Container operates four manufacturing facilities in North America and is a leading producer of recyclable aluminum aerosol cans, aluminum bottles, barrier systems and other specialty aluminum packaging. Driving the process is CCL Container’s New Package Development Team, which cultivates innovative, brand-building aluminum containers. Advanced processes, including CCL’s cutting-edge impact extrusion technology and piston barrier systems, deliver custom shapes and flawless functionality. An expansion at CCL’s facility in Hermitage, Penn., is slated for completion in summer 2014. An additional 125,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space will enable CCL Container to remain a committed industry partner for the growing aerosol and specialty beverage bottle markets for decades to come.
