Catalyst Communications Technologies, Inc. creates, markets, and produces Radio Control over IP technology for the critical communications industry, and is a Force For Change in the effort to bring Internet-derived technologies into mobile radio communications for First Responders. Catalyst focuses on products that leverage standard Windows-based computers to reduce cost and increase the efficiency of network operators and end users. Catalyst products provide Primary Dispatch and Desktop Dispatch solutions, as well as intelligent, network-based interoperability that connects different radio systems, cellular PTT, and telephones using the IP network. Catalyst was recently awarded a contract by the Department of Homeland Security to research and build an Interworking solution to enable communications between legacy Land Mobile Radio networks and new LTE based networks that employ Mission Critical Push to Talk, including FirstNet(tm), Push to Talk Responder, and other LTE services form carriers serving the First Responder community.
