Two hard working, beach girls from East Hampton, NY with a healthy outlook on life. Cassandra began working at Ina Garten's specialty food store, The Barefoot Contessa, at the age of 13, filling glassine bags with Ina's home-baked cookies and serving freshly brewed coffee to customers. Her mother Barbara is Ina's long-time kitchen assistant and friend, and through that cherished relationship with Ina, Cassandra has grown to love cooking and baking - she's even been on a few episodes of 'Barefoot Contessa'. Cassandra and Cintia both love simple, beautiful, classic kitchenware. Similar to Ina Garten herself, they're not interested in gimmicks or gadgets, just great quality pieces that can be used again and again.
