Our walk-in clinics CareToGo walk-in clinics are small easily accessible clinics, situated in areas you frequent on your way to and from work, shopping or meetings. Our first clinic, situated at The Hague Central Station, opened on 31 march 2014. Sample harvesting for blood work and culture testing can be completed on site, eliminating the need for an additional visit elsewhere. Most prescribed medication can be collected at the clinic at the end of the day – in line with our one-stop-shop principle. Our clinics are registered in the Ministry of Health’s Zorgregister and comply with all the prescribed (quality-)requirements. At the end of each consult you will receive a treatment-report for your own physician. Our physicians All CareToGo physicians are carefully selected, fully qualified and experienced physicians, dedicated to offering high quality care and optimal service to their walk-in patients. The people behind CareToGo CareToGo was founded in 2014 by four entrepreneurs – two physicians and 2 retail-experts – resulting in an optimal mix of medical content and expertise, and consumer-knowhow and –demands. The CareToGo founders felt that getting information on, answers to and treatment for basic, simple medical complaints often costs the patient more personal time than necessary. Fitting in appointments in a busy workday, spending costly time waiting one’s turn in a surgery’s waitingroom – CareToGo founders were convinced that those conditions could be improved to benefit the patient! Convenient care clinics for immediate and accessible care is an accepted concept abroad, especially in the USA, and the successes of such clinics inspired the founders to develop a Dutch variation: the walk-in clinic. CareToGo aims to have in place CareToGo walk-in clinics in at least 10 ‘high-traffic’ locations in the Netherlands, such as central stations, major office-developments and shoppingareas, by the end of 2016.
