Our goal is to maintain the Light Station as an accessible platform for experiential education, backcountry recreation, scientific research and the arts. Through collaboration and outreach we encourage the public to experience this unique cultural and natural resource. The Cape Decision Lighthouse Society (CDLS) is a grass-roots 501(c)3 non-profit Alaskan corporation. In 1997 CDLS was awarded stewardship responsibilities for the Cape Decision Light Station and its Lighthouse Reserve by the US Coast Guard.
