Snap was started in 2001 by Sally Britton, B.Sc., an NNEB trained special needs nanny and Andrew Knight, the parent of Camilla, who has cerebral palsy. Our desire was to offer a service based on an understanding from all sides of the equation. This continues to be our philosophy and has proved to meet the needs of the child, client, the wider family and the childcare, health & social care professional. Camilla was our original inspiration to start Snap and continues to be our motivation; setting the standard of care we expect for all our clients.
We are passionate about enhancing the lives of children & adults with disabilities and additional needs and supporting their families to do so. We believe that all individuals should have the very best care, the opportunity to reach their potential, to live life as they chose and to be full members of our society.
Snap is a specialist introductory agency; we source high calibre, experienced support workers, SEN nannies, mannies, buddies, night carers, therapists and other health & social care professionals across the UK and internationally.
We recruit fabulous people to work with clients of all ages from babies to adults with any disability or additional need. Our vision has always been to provide more than just the basic care needs; to maximise the opportunity for all our clients. We work directly with families and via case managers.
As well as offering a fully bespoke recruitment service, we can also promote care and healthcare vacancies to the right candidates with our Snap Shortlist and Job Advert services.
We understand 'Care' as we operate two residential care homes in Spalding and Bourne. People who need care prefer to receive their care at home and enabling independent living is our key objective. Care can be provided from 1/2 hour per week to 24 hour care 365 days per year. Our staff are all fully vetted, trained in NVQ and monitored against regulatory standards ensuring you are in very safe hands. Care in your own home requires attention to detail, warmth and respect for privacy and dignity. Wellbeing's longstanding reputation for doing things properly ensures that your particular needs are our expertise. A very real and preferable alternative to residential care, staying in your own home is perfectly possible with the right support. Enjoy independence with our expert assistance. The company empowers and enables people of all abilities to engage in a level of independent living that would not otherwise be possible.
