Candidly was founded in 2016 with a clear mission: help Americans move beyond debt and into wellness and wealth. We started with student debt because the need was undeniable. AI has always been core to how we build, and nearly a decade spent defining what's new, now, and next in financial wellness made accelerating it the natural next step. In 2025, we launched the Candidly Intelligence Center, a sophisticated backend system that coordinates specialized AI agents across financial domains, and introduced Cait, our Conversational AI Tool for personalized guidance.
