About Tejas Trails, the hidden gem of central Texas. The land was purchased by Kenneth Earl Morgan, an Air Force pilot during World War II. In 2008 it was turned into Camp Tejas Trails by his son, Ken Morgan, with his fathers blessing. Over the years, hundreds of volunteers have helped make Camp Tejas Trails what it is today, whether it was building the cabins and bath house, painting murals, or landscaping. We have hosted dozens of workshops, and our 5-star listing on Airbnb has made us a popular stay for those visiting the area. Today, Camp Tejas Trails is owned and maintained by Ken Morgan and his wife, Anne-Marie. They have coordinated numerous workshops, weddings, activities, and are also kept busy renting out the propertys various facilities. Ken is also a sawyer, woodworker, and craftsman and runs his own business, Tejas Provisions . He turns native hardwoods from the property into beautiful tables, as well as sells the wood in all forms, from raw live edge slabs to dimensional lumber cut to requested specifications. Be sure to request a tour of his workshop and handiwork during your stay you might just find a beautiful piece for your home!
