For 40 years, Camp Sunshine has provided hope, joy and community through unique experiences for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. At our pristine campus on Sebago Lake in Maine, more than 60,000 children, siblings, parents, and caregivers from all 50 states and 27 countries have come together for fun-filled, year-round sessions with families just like theirs. And, thanks to the incredible support of donors and volunteers, our programs are 100% free. Camp Aldersgate creates life-changing experiences for individuals with special needs every summer from June to September. In the remaining months, Camp’s outstanding and fully-accessible facilities are available for rent to various groups and organizations. We are located in the heart of Little Rock off of Kanis Road, an ideal location for any group in Central Arkansas. Camp Vega is a traditional girls camp located on beautiful Echo Lake, center of the Belgrade Lakes region of Maine. We have an extraordinary environment that focuses on friendship and fun both living together and in activities. Girls learn new skills through professional instruction, practice and game-play in a wide variety of sports and arts. While younger girls tend to enjoy trying everything, all girls can focus on activities they enjoy and want to excel in on a daily basis.
