• Urgent Care Centers
• Marcus Autism Center
• Center for Advanced Pediatrics
• Zalik Behavioral and Mental Health Center
• Support Center for nonclinical staff
• Nearly 15,000 employees, including more than 4,500 nurses and 1,200 pediatric physicians representing more than 60 pediatric specialties and programs
Why Children’s?
Here are some of the reasons new graduates and experienced clinicians alike choose Children’s.
• We manage more than 1.2 million patient visits and 46,000 surgical procedures annually.
• We are home to the only Level 1 and one of the only Level 2 pediatric trauma centers in Georgia.
• We take a team approach to care. Our clinicians collaborate with social workers, chaplains, music therapists, therapy dogs and many others to help ensure kids receive comprehensive care.
Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp provides “a different kind of healing” to more than 25,000 seriously ill children and family members annually – all completely free of charge. For many of these children and families, Hole in the Wall provides multiple Camp experiences throughout the year at the facility in Ashford, Conn., in 40 hospitals and clinics, directly in camper homes and communities, and through other outreach activities across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
The mission of Victory Junction is to enrich the lives of children with chronic medical conditions or serious illnesses by providing life-changing camping experiences that are exciting, fun and empowering, in a safe and medically-sound environment at no cost to campers and their families.
