What began as a grassroots festival in the small town of Monterey, Calif., The California Roots Music and Arts Festival is now one of the largest and more unique festivals in the country. Combining elements of art, music, and environmental consciousness, The California Roots Music and Arts Festival will enter its fifth and most electrifying year to date. Always improving and pushing the boundaries of festival standards with their family environment, zero waste program and live art, fans will have an experience that stands alone. Set in the scenic and historic Monterey County Fairgrounds, fans will see some of today’s biggest reggae acts on the same legendary stage that was graced by Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and The Who.
