Calgary Minor Softball Umpires Association Information

We are the Calgary Minor Softball Umpires Association (CMSUA) whose mandate is to provide qualified umpires for the Calgary Minor Fastpitch Softball community. We also provide umpires for tournaments throughout Alberta, Western Canada and nationally. Our umpires currently cover the U16 and U19 level games under the auspices of the Calgary Minor Softball Association (CMSA). CMSUA regularly sends umpires to the Alberta Summer Games, Alberta Provincial Championships, Western Canadian Championships and the Canadian National Championships. Our umpires are respected throughout the country as some of the most qualified and best trained umpires. We have achieved this respect because we believe in training, training and more training. CMSUA sends new umpires to their early season games with an experienced and qualified umpire who acts as their mentor and trainer. Our new officials say they enjoy the benefit of the CMSUA mentoring program which assists them in becoming more confident and qualified on the diamond.
