The Council on American Islamic Relations, Minnesota Chapter (CAIR-MN) is the sole Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization in the state of Minnesota. We strive to ensure that Minnesota Muslims are treated with the same dignity, fairness, and respect as their fellow citizens. Our goal is to give a voice to the Minnesota Muslim community by empowering American Muslims to challenge inaccurate media portrayals, know their rights and responsibilities, and actively participate in their community. Our mission is to enhance the understanding of Islam, encourage dialogue, protect civil liberties, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote justice and mutual understanding.
