The ACLU is an non-profit, non-partisan organization of people who believe in the power of action. We are united by the quest – “We the people dare to create a more perfect union.” Whether in the courts, statehouses, Congress or communities, we fight to defend the rights that the Constitution guarantees to all of us —regardless of who we are, where we come from, whom we love, or what we believe. CAIR-CA is a chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil liberties and advocacy organization. CAIR-CA's mission is to enhance understanding of Islam, encourage dialogue, protect civil liberties, empower American Muslims, and build coalitions that promote justice and mutual understanding. CAIR-CA's vision is to be a leading advocate for Justice & Mutual Understanding.

The Muslim Legal Fund of America is a charity that funds legal cases and programs in defense of civil liberties and legal rights in America specializing in national security cases. MLFA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and donations to MLFA are tax-deductible and zakat-eligible. The Muslim Legal Fund of America (MFLA) is a national civil liberties legal fund that defends the U.S. Bill of Rights by supporting legal cases that involve civil liberty encroachments and programs that defend the principles of justice on which America was founded. Established in 2001, MLFA has defending freedom of speech, freedom of religion, right to a fair trial, due process of law and many other of our nation's civil liberties.
