At C-Net, we specialise in providing SAP based Workplace Health & Safety Management Solutions. We have been providing SAP solutions since 1995 and in the year 2000, C-Net was awarded SAP Complimentary Software Partner Status. At that time we were handed the Intellectual Property rights to functionality initially developed by SAP Australia, catering for maintaining compliance to emergent Occupational Health & Safety legislation. C-Net’s charter was to continue to develop and support these localised WH&S functions and ensure legislative compliance for SAP customers. Over the years our solutions have been refined according to the ever changing Australian regulatory environment and according to our customer’s unique requirements. Our customers operate across the whole spectrum of Australian business: Public and Private sector, every state and territory, and every major industry. As such we learn a lot from them about how a typical business wants to handle these compliance issues and how the technology should support them. In turn, we continually develop our solutions to cater for these requirements. As WH&S technology specialists, we have continued to develop our solution to cater for ten key safety business processes that serve as enablers for delivering on the promise of Zero Harm in the workplace. These business processes are written in ABAP and HTML5 and are therefore fully integrated into SAP. SafetySuite fully complies to the SAP precept of a single version of the truth. We share a common SAP ECC database of employee and enterprise information, eliminating the need to store business rules and structures on separate infrastructure. To fully leverage the benefits of integration our code actually resides within SAP HCM / Payroll itself. We have no need to install servers, migrate or replicate data, and manage synchronization between different systems. It’s a simple technical solution for a set of increasingly complex business problems.
