Bunts Sangha's UKS Institute of Management Studies and Research Information

In the year 2012 Bunts Sangha Mumbai (Trust) established a quality management college under the name Bunts Sangha’s Uma Krishna Shetty Institute of Management Studies and Research (UKS) with the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE ) / Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). UKS offers a two years full time PGDM course. The college is located in the heart of central Mumbai and has easy connectivity through all modes of transport. Basically, the approach is to help prepare student to think, act and lead in the cross-functional way now required for business success. At UKS students are trained to develop their will and to tap their inherent abilities in order to Create, Plan, Act and Lead the country into a better tomorrow. The focus is on nurturing students as dynamic managers and future global leaders. UKS has State-Of-Art Infrastructure a 800 seater auditorium, two 300 seater mini auditoriums, hostel facilities for boys and girls, banking facilities, Hi-tech air-conditioned Wifi enabled classrooms, well equipped library with a plethora of books and e-journals and databases, training and discussion rooms and even an inbuilt posh restaurant to support its student canteen. At UKS, teaching pedagogy includes case based learning, class discussions, assignments, field projects, seminars / workshops, management games, role-plays and simulation based learning, destination lectures, summer projects & live industry projects. UKS also organizes number of industry interactions to offer real life experiential learning environment. The faculty are at par with the best in the Business with academic and industry experience.
