SCM Sophia is a purpose-driven post graduate diploma program in Social Communications Media based in Mumbai, nurturing young minds into bold, original, industry-ready storytellers. Our one year, full-time, integrated PGD program offers one-on-one mentorship from award winning media professionals, 20+ live projects, and immersive masterclasses in filmmaking, video, photography, multimedia journalism, social media, branding, events, and PR. Located in the heart of Mumbai, surrounded by several media houses, our campus fosters environment of collaboration, networking and mentorship from industry experts. SCMSophia is consistently ranked amongst India's top 10 mass communications program across the years. Rooted in the values of empathy, critical thinking, and self-expression, SCM Sophia has produced award-winning media professionals, thought leaders, and grassroots change-makers who are reshaping the media landscape in India for more than 50 years. SCMSophia is open to forty bright young women and men who are curious, committed and courageous. Our lush green campus is easily accessible and one of the safest spaces in Mumbai. Hostel accommodation for women students is an added advantage. The program is run by the Social Communications Media Department (SCMSophia), of Sophia Smt. Manorama Devi Somani College, and is affiliated to the University of Mumbai’s Garware Institute of Career Education and Development.
