BulbTown is wholly owned and operated by Jackson Electric and Lighting Supply. Founded in 1992 byDavid Tyson to supply movie theatres with Long-Life light bulbs, the company focus soon turned to retail and e-commerce distribution on an international scale. Over time, the company grew and diversified and in 2005 relocated to a stand-alone facility encompassing almost 8,000 square feet. In 2017 BulbTown was acquired by Jackson Electric and Lighting Supply and relocated to their 12,000 square foot Florida distribution center. Founded in 2013 by Lindsey Schoultz and Larry Swink, Jackson Electric and Lighting Supply is a full line electrical distributor with a national presence.
