BTA Food and Services Group Information

BTA, a subsidiary of TAV Airports was founded in 1999 under the partnership of Bilintur, Tepe and Akfen and started operating in January 2000. The company currently provides food & beverage services at international standards within 9 airports in Turkey, Georgia, Macedonia and Tunisia as well as at Istanbul Sea Buses. Providing service for approximately 88,000 passengers a day at the airports and Istanbul Sea Buses, BTA offers a wide range of international menu options. BTA operates 24 hours at approximately 149 cafes, bars, restaurants and kiosks spread over 35,000 sqm area at the airports with 13,600 seating capacity. Since the second half of 2011, BTA has also been operating approximately 75 cafes and kiosks at 9438 sqm area with a total of 3400 seating capacity at Istanbul Sea Buses (IDO), car ferries and passenger ferries which are used by 50 million passengers a year. BTA has also been operating TAV Airport Hotel since 2004 which is located at Istanbul Atatürk Airport. Cakes&Bakes, the production factory founded in 2006, currently supplies bakery products, sandwiches and ready-made meals to world-famous fast food and coffee chains with its 5 million piece capacity a month. The factory also produces 3 tons of lokum (Turkish delight) daily for 2 brands including "Loqum" that it established with its partner BTU. BTA Supply and Distribution Inc. was founded in early 2014, with the purpose of offering advantageous procurements for each group company from a single point, ensuring that the required products are accurately delivered to the service points, supplying reliable products of identical quality to each group company, thus minimizing cost and increasing efficiency. Having accredited by ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System and ISO:22000:2005 Food Safety Management System certificates, the company continuously expands its investments and operations in order to offer the ultimate taste to passengers before and during travelling.
