Kanki Japanese House of Steaks & Sushi was founded in 1972. Over the years, our flagship location at Crabtree Valley Mall became so popular that we decided to open two additional locations in the Triangle — one in North Raleigh, and one in Durham/Chapel Hill. We are proud of our status as Raleigh-Durham’s favorite spot for a flavorful, expertly-prepared hibachi lunch or dinner, as well as specialty sushi and delicious noodle dishes. Chef Ken Frank’s landmark restaurant, La Toque, is the recipient of Wine Spectator’s highest honor, 'The Grand Award', for our wine list and service excellence. Pairing wine and food is our passion. The pairings on our menus are considered by many to be the ultimate food and wine experience. Our culinary team and Sommeliers taste together daily, constantly exploring, looking for combinations that elevate both the food and wine, creating harmony. We offer two different dining experiences nightly at La Toque- For the ultimate La Toque experience, put yourself in Chef’s hands and go with The Chef’s Tasting Menu, a pre-selected menu of six-courses, including 4 savory dishes, a cheese course, and dessert. We also offer a Vegetarian version of this tasting menu. Our A La Carte menu experience allows you to make your own selections from a list of delicious seasonal savory dishes and desserts.
